Guardian analyzes messages you choose to share with it — pasted text, screenshots, uploaded files or your own TikTok data export — to flag harassment, threats, and scams. It runs on AI models operated by STEINWALL, keeps what it stores encrypted, and never posts, sends, or acts on your accounts. You can disconnect and delete everything at any time.
STEINWALL Guardian is a personal digital-safety tool. It examines text, images, short video clips, and voice messages that you submit to it, and, where you import your own data export, messages from it, in order to identify harassment, threats, and fraud attempts directed at you. Analysis runs on AI models that STEINWALL operates itself, on its own computer or on rented GPU capacity (Modal Labs, Inc., USA, as a processor); nothing you submit is sent to OpenAI, Google, Anthropic or other third-party AI providers. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Guardian is a detection and documentation aid. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not file reports with authorities or platforms on your behalf.
You must be able to form a binding agreement under the law of your country of residence to use Guardian. If you are connecting a third-party account (such as TikTok), you must be the legitimate holder of that account and old enough to hold it under that platform's own terms.
Each user has a personal account, secured by a password you choose and a one-time recovery phrase generated at setup. You are responsible for keeping both safe. If you lose both your password and your recovery phrase, Guardian cannot recover your encrypted data — this is a deliberate design choice, not an oversight, and is disclosed to you at account creation.
Where Guardian offers a connection to a third-party platform (for example, TikTok Login Kit), the connection is established through that platform's own sign-in and consent screen. Guardian only requests access to your own incoming messages on that account — never another person's account, and never the ability to post, message, or take any action on your behalf.
You can revoke this access at any time, either from within Guardian or directly from the third-party platform's own settings.
Analysis results (category, risk level, a risk score, and a plain-language explanation) are generated by an AI model and are estimates, not certainties. Guardian can miss genuine threats and can occasionally flag harmless content. Always use your own judgment, and contact the relevant platform or the authorities directly for anything urgent.
Guardian is currently free to use. It shows prepared usage tiers (FREE, PRO, CREATOR, ENTERPRISE) that set monthly analysis limits and unlock optional features such as media analysis and PDF report export. No payment is currently collected for any tier, and no tier grants access beyond what is described in this document.
Use Guardian only to protect yourself or someone who has asked you to help protect them. Do not use it to monitor another adult without their knowledge or consent, to build a case against someone for purposes unrelated to your own safety, or to submit content you do not have the right to analyze.
Guardian is provided as-is, without uptime guarantees. Analysis depends on AI models operated by STEINWALL (own computer or rented GPU capacity) and, where connected, on third-party platform APIs that STEINWALL does not control and which may change or become unavailable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, STEINWALL and Sebastian Keil are not liable for decisions you make based on Guardian's analysis, for missed detections, or for consequences arising from your use of a connected third-party account. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
These terms may be updated as Guardian's features change; the effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. You may stop using Guardian and delete your data at any time. We may suspend a connected third-party integration if the platform's own policies require it.
